Ilan Hen, Co-Founder, Chairman and CEO
Ilan has been with Intel’s mobile wireless group leading the advanced development and algorithmic design efforts of next generation wireless communication systems. Ilan fields of expertise include information theory, the mathematical theory of coding, communication, and digital signal processing (DSP). Ilan holds B.Sc and M.Sc degrees, and on leave of absence from Ph.D studies, from The Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, all in electrical engineering.
Amir Tirosh, EVP Marketing and Business Development
Amir has been a management member at Alvarion (NASDAQ: ALVR) as Corporate Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development leading the company’s strategy and corporate level transactions. Previously, Amir worked for M-Systems (NASDAQ: FLSH), which was acquired by SanDisk (NASDAQ: SNDK), as the Corporate Vice President and General Manager of the Embedded Business Unit, and as the Corporate Vice President of Corporate Business Development, leading M&A, investment and strategic agreements of the company. Prior to M-Systems, Amir served as the Director of Corporate Business Development at Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd., where he managed the process of new business opportunities, focusing mainly on M&A and joint ventures. Amir holds a B.Sc. degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, and an MBA from Tel Aviv University.
Uri Barkai, VP Research and Development
Uri has been with DSP Group where he was Corporate Vice President and IC Research and Development Division Manager managing a worldwide organization designing all the digital, analog, and RF cordless phone and IP phones components for the company. Previously, Uri has been with Intel Corporation for 24 years and held various position managing large world-wide engineering organizations. In his last position in Intel he was Director of CPU Design and delivered all Core 2 Duo microprocessor family of products (servers, desktops, laptops) that went to the market in 2006-2007. Previously in Intel, Uri was Director of Research and Development in the Cellular Communication Group and delivered all Xscale based application processors and cellular processors for hand-held devices and mobile phones. Earlier in Intel Uri managed CPU design of Xeon Pentium4 microprocessor. Uri holds B.Sc. degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Ben Gurion University.
Hanan Weingarten, Co-Founder, CTO
Hanan holds B.Sc, M.Sc, and Ph.D degrees from The Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, all in electrical engineering. Hanan’s fields of expertise include information theory, coding, communication, and DSP. During his Ph.D Hanan won several awards in the fields of information theory and communication, including the prestigious 2007 IEEE information theory society award. Hanan served as a special technical consultant to leading storage and communications companies and has spent some time at Bell Labs as an information theory researcher. Hanan also served in an elite technology unit within the Israeli Defense Force, as a development engineer.
Riki Falah, Director of Finance
Riki worked as a Senior Manager in PWC for nine years, and had acquired extensive experience with hi-tech and industrial companies, as well as multinational corporations, to which she provided professional services in the fields of audit, tax, M&A, and public offering. Riki is a Certified Public Accountant in Israel and holds a B.Sc degree in Business Administration from Ruppin Academic Center.
